This year, the dominant theme was undoubtedly Artificial Intelligence (AI) , a topic that has recently filled every debate, often with excess and without real knowledge of the facts. But in Barcelona, AI was not just an abstract concept: it was tangible, concrete, and applied across multiple sectors with innovations that will change the way we live and work. **AI applied to reality: from farmers to bank consultants ** AI is revolutionizing an incredible range of sectors, bringing efficiency and new opportunities. Here are some examples seen at MWC 2025: • **High-tech agriculture** :👩🏼‍🌾 Advanced systems equipped with **AI and robotics enable automated fruit harvesting with millimeter precision**. These intelligent robots are capable of assessing the degree of ripeness and picking only the ready fruit, reducing waste and increasing productivity. • **Banking and fintech** :🏦 AI is making the financial world faster and more efficient. **Identity document verification and the KYC (** **Know Your Customer ****) process, which in the past required days and high costs, are now handled in seconds at zero cost**, thanks to intelligent systems that analyze data and detect potential anomalies with unprecedented precision. • **Personalized cosmetics** : 🧴 Thanks to new **AI-based sensors and software, it is now possible to carry out an in-depth analysis of skin and hair, suggesting targeted treatments for each individual**. A step forward that revolutionizes the concept of personal care and well-being. These are just some of the areas where AI is making giant strides, but the list could go on indefinitely: from smart mobility to predictive infrastructure management, up to the optimization of energy resources. **AI will not replace humans, but it will change and divide the working world.** One of the big questions surrounding AI is whether or not this technology will replace humans in the workforce. At MWC 2025, a key concept emerged clearly: **AI will not replace people, but it will create a sharp distinction between those who know how to adapt and those who do not** . **Professions will not disappear, but they will evolve. Those willing to learn and deepen their use of AI will find infinite opportunities, while those who stand still risk being less attractive in the job market**.
